A BLUE SILK DRAGON ROBE
Late Qing dynasty
Couched with nine dragons and small shou medallions in gilt-
wrapped threads, surrounded by other auspicious emblems and
clouds, all embroidered in satin stitch, and bordered by the terrestrial
diagram and lishui border above the hem and at the sleeves, the
black collar band worked en suite (altered, faded and worn).

embroidered decoration; and two wrap-around pleated skirts with

A BLUE GAUZE SEMI-FORMAL DRAGON ROBE
Late Qing dynasty
Couched with nine gold dragons amidst short-stitched clouds, bats,
cranes, flower baskets and auspicious symbols, above a terrestrial
diagram rising from swirling waves and lishui stripes, the collar and
horse-hoof cuffs similarly decorated and edged with metallic-weave
fabric.

Qing dynasty
Including a pair of sixth rank military badges, with couched and
embroidered background and a beaded coral sun in the corner, the
panther rank insignia appliqued, framed and glazed; and a seventh
rank civil mandarin duck rear badge worked in short stitch with
couched details, mounted (loose threads, wear).
