‘DRAGON’ VASE AND COVER
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The plain, fattened, baluster body is well carved
in high-relief with a scaly dragon climbing up one
side, as a chilong clambers towards cloud scrolls
from rocks at the foot. The handles are formed
as angular scrolls and the cover has a rope-twist
fnial.
