A SPINACH-GREEN JADE VASE AND
COVER
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The fattened baluster body is carved in relief with
a continuous formal lotus scroll design continued
on the neck between the pair of loop handles
formed as winged mythical birds below an incised
key-fret border at the rim. The cover is carved
en suite, and the soft moss-green stone has fne
opaque mottling.
