A MASSIVE CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL VASE

19TH CENTURY
The body is decorated with vignettes of books,
precious objects and vessels containing fruit
and fowers including lotus and peony, peach,
pomegranate and fnger citron below a ruyi-head
band at the shoulder. The neck is decorated with
butterfies amidst fowering, leafy branches and
fanked by two bat-shaped handles.
