The plaque of rectangular form with a high relief portrait of Guanyin,
gilt and lacquered, with an elaborate headdress with phoenix on the
top and pendant cords terminating with inlaid semi-precious stones,
framed by a key-fret border. 44.5cm (17 1/2in) high x 33.8cm (13

TWO BRONZE MODELS OF GUANYIN AND LAOZI
17th century
The model of Guanyin seated on a raised pierced rockwork plinth,
the elegant flowing robes cascading over the rockwork bas with red
pigments remaining; the figure of Laozi seated on a water buffalo on
a leaf form base. 14.2cm (5 5/8in) and 8.6cm (3 3/8in) high (2).
