19th century
The domed cover pierced with scrolling lotus and surmounted with a
reclining caparisoned elephant supporting a vessel containing lotus
over cash ingots, scrolls and gourds, the burner with upright elephant
mask handles and well-defined scrolling lotus to the body, all raised
on elephant mask cabriole supports, inlays to cover and vessel in
glass simulating coral and turquoise. 35.5cm (14in) high (2).
