十七 / 十八世紀 壽山石雕羅漢坐像
deftly carved, the deity seated with the left knee bent supporting the left elbow, the head slightly lowered reading a book held in
the hands, the hair, beard, and eyebrows finely incised and painted in black pigment, dressed in a loose robe falling open at the
chest and draped in naturalistic folds, a cowl covering the head with the hems finely incised with a brocade pattern and inset with
small colored stones and coral, all supported on a rocky base with branches, the semi-translucent stone of a creamy color with
blushes of red at the cowl
