each rectangular panel finely enameled, the first painted with a winter landscape scene, depicting a scholar riding on
an caparisoned horse and gazing upward at overhanging withered branches, with snow covered mountains and a flock of flying
geese in the distance, accompanied by a poetic verse followed by a signed and dated inscription and two artist seals reading
Xichang Wang Qi and Taomi, the second depicting an elder wearing a straw hat walking on a grassy meadow beside a young boy
riding a buffalo, the animal turning its head slightly toward its calf nestling closely behind, all within a spring landscape with trees
sprouting new leaves and blossoms, accompanied by a poem followed by a signed and dated inscription and two artist seals, wood
