1320     A PAIR OF GEORGE III SILVER TWO-LIGHT CANDELABRA
                               MARK OF JOHN WAKELIN & WILLIAM TAYLOR, LONDON, 1777

                               On a stepped circular base with laurel band, rising to a columnar stem with heavy laurel swags, the knop
                               with laurel band, the central standard surmounted by a faming urn with pendant rings, issuing two
                               scroll form acanthus arms supporting circular drip pans and sockets, marked on base rims and fanges of
                               standard, two sconces with lion passant, fanges and bases  engraved with weight and numbered 1,4, further
                               stamped with later French import marks
                               14Ω in. (37 cm.) high
