A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE ‘SANDUO’ BOWLS
GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE
PERIOD (1875-1908)
The exterior of each bowl is decorated in famille rose enamels with fruiting and blossoming
branches of peach, pomegranate and lychee, the sanduo, and on the interior in underglaze
blue with a central lotus leaf medallion below stylized lotus scroll in the well.
