A VERY FINE AND RARE PALE GREEN-WHITE JADE CARVING The two figures of boys, one holding a lotus stem and woven box,
OF THE HEHE ERXIAN IN A RAFT and the other a ruyi-shaped oar, represent the Hehe Erxian, known

paddling the gnarled tree-trunk raft, both figures of great delicacy and riches and honour, making this carving highly suitable as a gift on the
charm, flanking a cluster of blossoming peony flowers, peaches and occasion of New Year.

長壽、和睦的寓意,是宮廷文房陳設佳器。
