intricately modelled with detailed facial and body features, the well- depicted with a vivid expression with protruding eyes and defined
polished greenish-white stone with tiny faint russet inclusions. jaws, the striped skin intricately carved in relief and the fur meticulously
5.5cm (2 1/4in) wide incised, its raised long tail curling up its back, the stone of greenish-
yellow colour with russet inclusions skilfully utilised to render its skin.

黃玉拖褐皮，玉質溫潤。虎作蹲姿，昂首，頭部較大，雙耳向後。雙
圓眼凸出，闊鼻，張口露齒，鬍鬚向下，與胸相連，尾向上卷，以精
細陰線紋和淺浮雕身體皮膚紋飾，茸茸細毛生動逼真。此虎雕刻工藝
精湛，老虎形象活靈活現，為元代一精品。
