張陶然先生是香港1970年代著名的電影製片家，香
港第一部《龍門客棧》便是他的製作。據悉張陶然
先生本人收藏古玉甚豐。

兩件玉璧造型相似，扁平圓形，一件為墨綠玉質，
另一件青玉玉質，全器光素無紋，造型古樸。玉耳
飾玉質呈青黃色，有輕微褐色沁，橢圓形狀，一側
有一斜缺口切割為耳飾用途。與此拍品造型和比例
類似之玉環，可參考江蘇省吳縣唯亭草鞋山遺址87
號墓出土一例，現藏於南京博物院，見《中國出土
玉器全集7》，北京，2010年，頁12。

TWO JADE DISCS, BI, AND AN EAR ORNAMENT
Neolithic Period, the ornament Hongshan Culture
Consisting of two circular bi discs with a round aperture at the centre,
both unadorned and smoothly polished, the larger disc of olive-green
tone and the other of greenish-yellow tone, the larger disc 9.6cm
(3 3/4in) diam.; together with a pale green jade ear ornament of thick
oblong form with a narrow slanting slit, the stone partially suffused with
buff colour, 5.4cm (2in) long. (3).

Cheung Tao Yin was an eminent collector of Chinese archaic jades
who was a renowned filmmaker in Hong Kong in the 1970s. One of his
notable works includes Dragon Inn.
