TWO JADE ANIMAL PENDANTS

Comprising a jade rabbit depicted crouching with slightly protruding 香港張陶然先生舊藏，1982年
eyes beneath slanting grooves indicating the elongated ears, the stone 松竹堂收藏，編號26及87
of a pale yellowish-green tone partially suffused with buff colour, 4cm
(1 1/2in) long; and a bird carved from a thin section of dark green jade 出版及著錄：
with opaque buff inclusions, the top part with a pierced hole indicating 霍滿棠，《韞玉生輝 - 松竹堂珍藏玉器》，香港，2011年，圖版26
the head and eye, the middle part as the body and the bifurcated end （玉兔）
as the tail, 4.8cm (1 3/4in) high. (2).

HK$25,000 - 35,000 玉兔淺青色，局部呈白化現象。扁平體，雕成兔形，兔作曲肢奔跑狀，
US$3,200 - 4,500 首略昂，雙眼微凸注視前方，形象生動。玉兔始見於殷商，商周時較為
流行。玉鳥青玉質，局部呈白色。鳥呈站立狀，分三部分，上部為鳥
Provenance: 首，中部為身體，單陰線刻鳥翼，下部為分叉尾巴，風格簡約。
