A JADE NOTCHED AXE-HEAD, QI; AND A JADE PENDANT,
HUANG
Western Zhou Dynasty
The blade of trapezoidal form gently flaring outwards, the narrow sides
notched with two rows of small flanges, with a circular hole pierced
near the centre, the attractively polished stone of greenish-yellow tone
highlighted by areas of russet inclusions, 5.3cm (2in) long; together
with an arc-shaped pendant drilled with two holes at each end, the
stone of greyish-green tone flecked with russet inclusions, 7.3cm (3in)
long. (2).

西周 玉戚及玉璜

玉戚青黃玉質，大面積沁褐斑。器呈長方梯形，兩側各有互相對稱的
扉棱六個，器中部有一圈孔，光素無紋，通體磨光，製作十分精緻。
玉璜青色受沁呈褐斑，體扁平，呈弧形，光素無紋，兩端分別有鑽
孔，造型簡樸。
參考兩件西周早期為禮儀用玉的小玉戚，分別出土於山東省濟陽縣姜
集鄉劉台子和陝西省扶鳳縣齊家村19號墓，見古方編，《中國古玉器
圖典》，北京，2007年，頁114。
