THREE SMALL JADE ‘DRAGON’ DISCS, BI
Eastern Zhou Dynasty
The three circular discs intricately carved on both sides with stylised
dragon scrolls; the largest disc carved in low relief of a light yellow
tone, 4.8cm (2in) diam.; the second, of a greenish-yellow tone
suffused with russet inclusions, 4.3cm (1 3/4in) diam.; and the third, of
dark-yellow jade showing patches of reddish-brown and opaque buff
inclusions, 3.4cm (1 1/4in) diam. (3).

東周 龍紋小玉璧三件

此拍品包含三件小玉璧。分別為黃玉、青黃玉及淺黃玉質，均有鈣化
受沁之象。黃玉璧局部白化，雙面交錯使用浮雕和陰刻刀法雕變形龍
紋圖案。青黃玉璧局部沁褐斑，雙面陰刻多組變形龍紋。淺黃玉璧局
部白化，雙面以淺浮雕工藝飾隱起的變形龍紋。三件玉璧整體器型規
整，紋飾精細，製作十分精美，為典型春秋戰國時期常見形制。

戰國時期形制較小的玉璧可參照震旦藝術博物館一例，著錄於孫慶
偉，《戰國玉器》，台北，2007年，頁67，圖版16。另參看一件春秋
