A HUANGHUALI SIDE TABLE, PINGTOUAN
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The three-board top set into a mitre, mortise-and-tenon frame with
double ‘ice-plate’ edge and exposed tenons on the short side, the
plain u-shaped aprons butted and half-lapped into the oval shaped
legs joined by paired transverse oval stretchers.
