A CELADON JADE MUGHAL-STYLE GEMSTONE AND GOLD
EMBELLISHED VASE AND COVER
Of pear shape with a galleried rim, pedestal foot and domed cover
surmounted by a bud finial, the exterior decorated with gold wire inset
with colored gemstones to form arabesque designs of birds perched in
trees and floral sprigs beneath a band of linked oval fruit encircling the
neck, the cover decorated en suite, the pale celadon stone with some
black inclusions, fitted box.
