the shallow rounded sides delicately worked in the form of
slender uted petals with pointed tips radiating from a slightly
raised at centre simulating a chrysanthemum bloom, all
supported on a foot of conforming form, covered overall in a
bright red lacquer save the base lacquered black, Japanese
wood box
