A BLUE AND WHITE DEEP DISH
Chenghua mark, Kangxi period
The canted rim flange cut with a scalloped edge and painted with
mock battle scenes in the various reserves that continue onto the
cavetto toward a central battle scene across the floor of the well, the
reverse painted with fruits, flowers and cloud collar reserves and the
base bearing the six-character mark in standard script enclosed within
a double ring (chips).

A GROUP OF THREE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAINS
Kangxi period
The largest a baluster jar of inverted pear form painted with opposing 5100
panels of travelers in a landscape (lacking cover, hairline crack); the
second a compressed ovoid jar painted with a band of alternating
vertical and horizontal lobed reserves set between ascending and
descending leaf bands (lacking cover); the third a small food serving
bowl with two handles, painted with flower and rock reserves on the
exterior walls and the conforming domed cover (chips, hairline cracks).

A BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN BOWL
Ming dynasty
Thickly potted with an everted rim, deep well and tall foot, a flowering
branch with spiky leaves resembling an oriental poppy painted in
the roundel at the center of the well and along the exterior walls, the
recessed base centered with a rectangular potter’s mark and the
celadon-tinged glaze covering most surfaces showing a wide web of
craze lines (chipped foot).
