of upright section, with a globular body surmonted by a
broad tubular neck and flanged rim, set with phoenix handles
suspending loose rings, decorated with taotie, the neck
surrounded with stiff leaves

Museum, Enamels, vol. 3, Cloisonné in the Qing Dynasty,

illustrated in situ in the Hall of Fragrance in the Forbidden
City, published in Hu Chui, The Forbidden City. Collection of
Photographs by Hu Chui, Beijing, 1998, p. 71. Compare also a
