A Longquan celadon deep dish with incised and

Ming dynasty
7239 Its wide rim flange incised with a dissolved leafy spray, the curving
walls with a classic lotus flower and leaf scroll and the floor with an
132 | BONHAMS ogival reserve framing a stamped flower spray, the reverse finished
without decoration above the wide foot ring and an olive-green glaze
applied everywhere except the cinnamon-burnt firing ring on the
recessed base.

A Longquan celadon dish with foliate rim
Ming dynasty
Thickly formed and finished with a raised edge to the rim flange,
concave ribs to the curving well that repeat on the exterior and a twin
chrysanthemum spray stamped at the center, the gray-green glaze
covering all surfaces including the wide foot ring and portions of the
recessed base marked with a cinnamon-burnt firing ring.

century). A flat rimmed dish with similar fluting and stamped twin-
chrysanthemum spray is dated to the 15th century by Regina Krahl in
Chinese Ceramics in the Topkapi Saray Museum Istanbul, 1986: vol. I,
no. 448 (TKS 15/476), p. 350 (37cm diameter).

A Longquan celadon deep dish
14th century
Thickly molded with a raised outer edge to the rim flange, interior walls
incised and combed with a foliage scroll pattern, the floor of the well
stamped with a tiny character shan (mountain) visible within a faint
lotus pod and water weed roundel, the exterior without decoration, the
pale olive-green glaze covering all surfaces except the cinnamon-burnt
firing ring on the shallow recessed base.
