    An unusual carved biscuit dragon vase
    Guangxu seal mark, Late Qing/Republic Period
    Superbly executed in high relief with five dynamic five-claw dragons emerging from multiple
    layers of billowing clouds to spar over flaming jewels, their scaly bodies finely worked and
    silhouetted against the dense network of clouds.

    There are no apparent recorded examples of Guangxu seal marks on biscuit-glazed wares.
