Two iron red ‘dragon’ wine cups
Guangxu six-character marks and of the period
Each of inverted bell form but slightly different size to the rim and foot,
the exterior painted with two striding dragons, one in profile and the
other with its head turned backwards as they pursue flaming peals
above a band of breaking waves, the reign mark written in underglaze
blue standard script to the center of each recessed base.

A pair of coral red and yellow ground bowls with
famille rose decoration
Guangxu period
Each with canted sides turning sharply inward above a tall foot
ring, the exterior painted with an iron red wanzi pattern on a yellow
ground surrounding four roundels filled with bats, ruyi lappets and the
characters fu, lu, shou and xi in gilt and brightly hued enamels, the
interior painted with fruiting and flowering gourd vines against an iron
red ground and the recessed base enameled en suite with a ribboned
attribute group on the yellow ground.

A large polychrome enameled ‘Hundred Deer’ vase
Late Qing/Republic period
Of hu form with a body of pear shape raised on a tall foot, the applied
deer-head handles enameled in black and iron red while herds of
tiny deer feed amid towering pines and peach trees filling the rocky
landscape rendered in a richly hued ‘blue and green’ style, a colorless
glaze covering all surfaces except the foot pad on the recessed base.

A pair of famille rose enameled export garden stools

Each of hexagonal section and barrel form, cut with cash-patterned
openings to the top and sides surrounded by well-painted scenes of
court beauties, officials and attendants, the side walls further painted
en suite with auspicious emblems, birds and flower sprigs amid rows
of gilt- painted circular boss at the top and rose-enameled bosses
above the base.
