both hands, the robes cascading in elaborate
folds with finely detailed hems, with a large
tied ribbon to the front, flanked by two
dragons resting on his knees.

The luohan forming the cover seated
clad in loose flowing robes with jewelled
adornments, gazing downwards at an open
scroll, the recumbent lion curled around to its
left, with upright tail, curled mane and locks
extending from its spine.

relief portrait of Guanyin, gilt and lacquered,
with an elaborate headdress with phoenix on

inlaid semi-precious stones, framed by a key-
