a wide flared rim, gilt with cartouches of butterflies, flower sprays and
fruits amongst stylised scrolling foliage.

Guangxu six-character mark and of the period
The bottle shaped vase with globular body and waisted neck,
painted in gilt with two stags next to a pine tree with sparrows on
its branch, below a band to the shoulder of shou characters among
lotus scroll, the neck with a central crane figure below a pine tree all
beneath a ruyi-head band to the mouth rim.
