18th/19th century to late Qing Dynasty
Comprising: a pale green belt clasp with
dragon head terminal carved in relief to the
square plaque with a serpentine chilong
grasping a lingzhi stem; a small yellow jade
belt hook carved with archaistic pommel
scrolls; and nine jade hairpins of pale green
and mottled spinach hue. The longest
hairpin: 16.5cm (6 1/2in) long (11).

The tapering shaft curving at the top and
surmounted by a phoenix with upturned
head and bifurcated tail coiled around to
each side, the pale stone with mottled
creamy inclusions and some russet veining.
