                                                                      covered overall with a pale lavender-blue glaze, rising to a
                                                                      narrow waisted neck recessed into the shoulder and forming a
                                                                      deep channel around the rim, the white glazed base with a six-
                                                                      character apocryphal Kangix mark in underglaze blue
                                                                      10 cm, 4 in.

           QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
           standing on cresting waves, wearing long robes opening at the
           chest to reveal a beaded necklace, the face with a benevolent
           expression, the reverse impressed with a mark within a square
           reading Puji Yuren (virtue extends to all, even fishermen)
           34.5 cm, 13⅝ in.
