           the top inset with a pale celadon jade plaque, deftly carved
           in openwork with a ferocious dragon amongst ruyi and lotus
           sprigs, against a background of scrolling clouds, the stone of a
           pale celadon colour, the wood stand of rectangular form with
           the ends rolled under
