A CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL ‘PEONY’ GARLIC-NECK TWIN-HANDLED VASE
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)

The body is decorated with large peony fowers set against a ‘cracked-ice’ ground,
below a band of ruyi heads surrounding the mouth. Each handle is shaped as a ruyi
sceptre and decorated with a bat.
