A CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL ‘PIGEON’ CENSER AND COVER
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The censer is fnely modelled in the form of a pigeon, the feathers delicately wired
and enamelled in blue and green and the eyes are inset with red glass beads. The
wings and back form a detachable cover.
