A TWO-COLOUR TREFOIL PEACH-FORM LACQUER BOX AND COVER
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The box and cover are shaped as three conjoined peaches, with the sides decorated
with foral sprays. The top of the cover is carved with peaches surrounding the Six
Daoist Emblems and fve bats, set against a brown geometric ground. The interior is
ftted with nine detachable leaf-form trays.
