A PAIR OF UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND IRON-RED DECORATED ‘DRAGON’ DISHES
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARKS IN BLACK ENAMEL
AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
Each dish has rounded sides, and is decorated to the interior with a fve-clawed dragon
leaping amidst clouds and fame scrolls in pursuit of a faming pearl. A similar frieze of
two dragons is on the exterior.
