Ellanor Baxter Judd lived a full and vibrant life dedicated to
patronage, philanthropy and family. Married to Dr. John Hewitt
Judd (1899-1986), Professor and Department Chair of the
Ophthalmology Department at the University of Nebraska
(1930-1964), she played a leading role in Omaha society.
Her enthusiasm for life was chronicled for decades in the
Omaha Herald.
As a lifelong Sinophile, Mrs. Judd had a treasure wall of rare and
beautiful articles of Chinese bronzes, jades and ceramics in her
Omaha home acquired through her travels from 1940’s through
the 1960’s.
