DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK
IN IRON RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-
1850)
The cup is painted to the exterior with two fve-
clawed dragons chasing faming pearls amidst
cloud and fame scrolls, on a turquoise ground.

A BLUE AND WHITE ‘LANCA’ STEM CUP
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK
IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD
(1821-1850)
The cup is decorated to the exterior with lanca
characters divided by lotus scrolls above a band
of lotus lappets. The spreading foot is painted
with fower-heads above jewelled tassels and
ruyi-heads.
