cart and a model of a wild boar
Tang Dynasty
The ox standing four-square on a rectangular
base, the carriage and wheels with traces
of pigment, all mounted on a later wooden
frame; together with a press-moulded pottery
figure of a recumbent wild boar, wood stand.
The ox and cart together: 43cm (16 7/8in)
long (7).

A celadon tripod incense burner
16th/17th century
The heavily potted vessel carved to the
exterior with large flowerheads, covered in a
slightly over-fired, vitrified pale green glaze,
the well and base unglazed.

A Longquan celadon tripod
incense burner
15th/16th century
The cylindrical vessel in the form an ancient
bronze lian, the exterior carved in relief with a
frieze of peony flowerheads and leaf fronds,
raised on three cabriole feet; together with
a blanc-de-chine libation cup with moulded
decoration, 17th/18th century, wood stand.
