reveal a mirror, the front of the box opening
to reveal an arrangement of drawers and
compartments, with brass bound corners,
locks and handles, inlaid in mother of pearl
with a foliate motifs and Precious Objects.

apron, deeply carved overall with blossoming
prunus branches, pierced floriform lower tier;
and a similar marble inset hardwood stand,
the octagonal surface with curved facets,
carved with bamboo and floral sprays, the
pierced waisted apron carved with panels of
prunus blossom, the legs terminating in paw
form feet, enclosing a serpentine edged tier.
