A gilt bronze figure of a Daoist female
Immortal
16th/17th century
Probably representing Magu, elegantly modelled, wearing
long, flowing robes, with a peacock feather apron, a ruyi
form pendant at her chest, holding a lotus spray in the left
hand, a gourd flask slung over her back, the face gently
lowered, with serene expression.
41.5cm (16.3/8in) high.
