roundels of peonies issuing from rockwork,
within floral borders, wood stands.

Two blanc-de-chine figures of
Guanyin
17th/18th century
Both seated on raised rockwork bases,
wearing flowing robes with cowls covering
the hair pulled up in high chignons, one with
a child seated upon her lap, the other holding
a vase, with albums and a scroll resting on
a rocky plinth to one side, 34.3cm (13.1/2in)
and 33cm (13in) high; and a cream glazed
model of Guanyin, seated wearing flowing
robes falling in elaborate pleats, with loose
fitted hands, one holding a scroll, 21cm
(8.1/4in) high.

With applied lion mask handles, decorated
with bands of scrolling, leafy lotus stems on
a turquoise ground, the lotus sprays in red,
