China, 1368-1644. The scroll weight cast in the form of a recumbent
qilin with its head turned backwards, the details finely incised giving China, late Ming dynasty (1368-1644). The Buddhist lion cast with a fierce expression,
this mythical beast a noble expression. open mouth, flame-like tail and one paw on a brocade ball.
