WATER BUFFALO AND RIDING ON A LION

Sino-Mongolian, 17th / 18th century. An expressively

LATE QING TO REPUBLIC
China, late 19th century to early 20th century. A heavily cast seal
with a six-character intaglio inscription, the top crafted in the form
of a recumbent ram with finely incised fur and horns on a stepped
rectangular base.
