                           GUANGXU MARK & PERIOD
                     China, 1875-1908. Guangxu six-character mark painted in iron red
                     to the base and of the period. Painted in vivid Famille Rose enamels
                     and iron-red medallions with two pairs of confronting dragons and
                     phoenixes surrounded by flying bats and swirling clouds.

                     Condition: Excellent condition with only minor wear. Some wear to
                     foot rim. Good sound lasting for 2-3 seconds.
                     Provenance: Swiss private collection.

                     Note the finely painted Five Bats medallion inside the well. Also
                     remarkable is the white enameling of the dragon’s claws and the
