The table is inlaid in mother-of-pearl with birds perched on The cover is inlaid in ivory with a lively scene of boys playing in a
blossoming prunus branches by rocks with lingzhi fungus. The sides garden, to one side a seal and three-character inscription reading
are further decorated with a scrolling design of fower heads. biyu zhai that may be translated as “Spinach Jade Hall”. The sides
20Ω in (52 cm.) wide, ftted wood box are decorated with prunus blossom and applied with metal handles.
