A COPPER-RED-GLAZED DISH
QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN
UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-
1795)
The dish is potted with gently rounded sides. It is covered
on the interior and exterior with a dark strawberry-red
glaze stopping short at the rim and base.

MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF
THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The dish is decorated to the central roundel
with a triple peach stem that is surrounded
with a band of fruit-bearing branches of
lychee, pomegranate and fnger-citron,
forming the ‘Three Abundances’ (‘sanduo’).
