此類玉鳥形飾多見於商代至西周時期。商、周玉鳥風格稍異，且雕刻技法亦見差別，商代刀工常見刀刃，而西周時期則常採用「一面坡」
的雕刻技法，頗具時代特色。參考相類商代玉鳥飾，如兩例1953年出土於河南安陽，現藏中國國家博物館，錄楊伯達編，《中國玉器全集
（上）》，石家莊，2005年，編號90及91；另見一例，藏倫敦大英博物館，載傑西卡•羅森，《Chinese Jade from the Neolithic to the
