Edo period (1615-1868), 19th century
The iron helmet completely covered in white hair extending back to
cover the komanju jikoro, the mabisashi and fukigaeshi covered in
stencilled leather, on the front a kuwagata dai with kuwagata and the
shitsume mon maedate used by a number of families; the mask a
simple black-lacquered hanbo; the yokohagi-do in russet lacquer laced
in stencilled leather, on the back a gattari for a sashimono, the kusazuri
black-lacquered; black-lacquered chusode, shinogote, kawara haidate
and shinosuneate; together with a saihai and an armour box.
