handmaidens emerge from an adjoining pavilion with ritual
Opaque watercolor heightened with gold on paper objects. Musicians play outside. They sit beneath a Mandapa
image: 8¾ by 12 in. (20.3 by 30.4 cm) marriage canopy of tied poles as a ock green parrots perch
folio: 9½ by 12¾ in. (22.8 by 30.5 cm) above. The parrot is the vehicle of Kama the god of love -
perhaps these are his messengers. With blue outer borders
