Acquired 1989
Within a white columned marble palace the nimbate (haloed)
Guru holds darbar. He is seated on a low bejeweled gold
throne-chair as he receives an assembly of dignitaries
petitioning him and paying homage. He addresses their leader
as his nobles stand behind. An attendant holds a morchal
(ceremonial peacock feathered fan) whilst another bears a
gold tray with a container of delicacies.
With black inner borders within red and white ruled lines and
mauve-pink outer borders.
