The wood case with gilt-metal mounts and carved in 19 CENTURY
shallow relief with stylised flowers and leaves contained Finely inlaid with butterflies and birds in flight amongst
between green bands of key fret, the knife’s handle fruiting grape and gourd vines, with eight figures
similarly decorated, each of the bone chopsticks with a standing amidst the design, the rim with floral sprays,
scrolling band to the end, 30cm. (4) 63cm x 41.5cm.

The vajra with eight curved prongs issuing from stylised Seated with their legs tucked underneath their bodies,
dragon heads, the adjoining bands and central baluster with their heads turned to the side, the wood bodies inlaid
knop cast with lotus petal decoration, each of the cymbals with finely defined mother of pearl feathers and eyes,
cast with four shou characters to the top and the Tibetan the beaks and feet in ivory, with four character Qianlong
words ‘Om Ah Hum’ to the underside, joined by a later seal marks in mother of pearl to the underside of the
string of leather lace, 11cm, 128g and 269g. (2) small covers on their backs, the interiors in red lacquer,
9cm max. (4)

carved with dragons, foliage, ruyi-heads, scrolls and other ears lying flat against its head and with its mouth wide
motifs, some with paper collection labels, 40cm max. (14) open revealing its tongue and sharp teeth, their long tails
