‘LANDSCAPE’ DISHES
QING DYNASTY
One painted in the famille verte palette, the other in rose verte,
each painted with figures fishing and tending to their animals in
a lush riverscape, with wispy clouds swirling amidst mountainous
peaks in the distance, 37.5cm. (2)

The larger jardinière painted with four magpies perched amongst
peony, prunus and other flowers, the smaller decorated with a pair
of peacocks amidst rockwork and blossoming branches, 35.5cm
and 27.5cm. (2)

A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE CIRCULAR BOX AND COVER
LATE QING DYNASTY
Painted with peony and chrysanthemum in panels and bands,
all contained between pink diaper borders, together with an
aubergine glazed rectangular-section bottle vase, 26.5cm. (3)
